Reheating Instructions:

Thank you for ordering with Valerie’s French Kitchen! Please find below a few simple instructions to enjoy your meals to their fullest.

All dishes are fully cooked, unless specified, and can be stored in your refrigerator (or freezer) until you are ready to enjoy them. Meals will last 4-5 days in the refrigerator, and up to 6 months in the freezer. The instructions below assume that the food was stored in your fridge. If it is at room-temperature you may reduce the heating time. If the meals are frozen it is best to thaw them in the fridge overnight prior to reheating.

Dal:
Stove top: Transfer to a roomy sauce pan and heat up over medium, heat for 5 to 10 min stirring regularly until it reaches the desired temperature. Top with a tbsp of coconut flakes and
A dollop of yogurt. Serve with warm rice and naan.
Microwave: Transfer in a microwave proof bowl and heat individual portions 1 to 2 minutes at a time until desired temperature is reached
Rice: Can be kept in the brown container and warmed up directly in the microwave for a minute at a time until hot. You can also reheat it in a small pot on the stove top, under medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring regularly so it doesn’t stick to the bottom
Naans:
Oven: Preheat oven to 380 F. Remove naans from the box and place on a baking sheet. Sprinkle Naan lightly with water and place on the middle oven rack for 2-3 minutes. You can also brush them with butter for extra flavor!
Microwave: Heat up the naan bread for 30 to 90 seconds, 30 seconds at a time until warm.
