Bienvenue!

I’m Valerie, born in a small town just north of Toulouse, in the South of France. My passion for cooking began early, inspired by my mother and both grandmothers, who prepared wholesome meals every day. Whether it was a simple family dinner or a festive gathering, I was always drawn to the joy, care, and creativity that came from their kitchens.

After studying foreign languages in college, I naturally gravitated toward the hospitality industry and went on to study hotel management at the renowned Lycée Hôtelier Lesdiguières in Grenoble, France. While I spent part of my childhood in the Ivory Coast, I’ve lived much of my adult life in countries including France, Switzerland, Austria, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. These experiences broadened my culinary perspective and deepened my appreciation for diverse cuisines and cultures.

While my cooking is deeply rooted in French and Mediterranean traditions, my love for travel and cultural discovery is reflected in the unique and globally inspired flavors of my dishes.

Committed to food safety, health, and lifelong learning, I hold a Food Safety Manager Certificate (required for food service managers in Minnesota) and am a proud member of the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA).
